Dr. Wesam is a senior rheumatology specialist who has been practicing rheumatology for 15 years. He earned his master’s degree in spondyloarthropathies and psoriatic arthropathies, while his PhD was in rheumatoid arthritis and osteoporosis.

He is an active member of the British Society of Rheumatology and GRAPPA network. He has 30 peer-reviewed publications and abstracts that have been published in peer-reviewed journals and at international conferences.

He is the editor and reviewer for many highly impacted peer-reviewed journals such as rheumatology advances in practice and PLOS one journals.

He participated as an organizer, speaker, and instructor in many national, regional, and international rheumatology conferences.
