Professor Aladdin Mohammad, MD, MPH, PhD is a Swedish board-certified specialist in rheumatology and internal medicine, with a PhD in medical nephrology and an MPH in epidemiology. He is senior consultant in rheumatology at Skåne University Hospital, Adjunct Professor at Lund University, and Visiting Researcher at the University of Cambridge. His research focuses on systemic vasculitis, particularly comorbidities and long-term outcomes. He is also an investigator in FAIRVASC, a multinational collaboration integrating European vasculitis registries to study disease phenotypes and outcomes. He chairs the Swedish national AAV guideline group, contributes to EULAR recommendations on AAV and GCA, and serves on the Presidential Council of the European Vasculitis Society (EUVAS).
